In Memory of Thomas Mueller

Thomas Mueller was the son of Di Wilkins and Philip Mueller, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma as a child. Neuroblastoma is a rare form of childhood cancer, and Thomas fought the disease for many years, before passing away in 2011 at the age of seven. Walk for Thomas is held annually to honour his memory and support research into finding a cure for neuroblastoma.

Walkers are made up of the Critical Mass community, Thomas' school mates, family and neighbourhood friends – both here in Calgary and in other CM locations. All funds raised at Walk for Thomas supports the research of Dr. Paul Beaudry at the University of Calgary, who is exploring new ways of diagnosing and treating children with neuroblastoma. You can learn more about neuroblastoma and Thomas in this video: https://vimeo.com/210295137

Thank you for honouring Thomas and his family, and supporting the fight against neuroblastoma!
