Werklund School of Education presents:

Distinguished Research Lecture

The Marriage of Psychology and Education

Proudly supported by UCalgary Alumni

How can psychologists, teachers and parents better guide children and youth to improved learning, critical thinking, and mental health?

By thinking well.

As the 2019 Werklund Annual DIstingushed Research Lecturer, Dr. Jac Andrews will illustrate why educators must first reflect upon their shared thinking and experience if they aim to provide the improved services required by children and youth who today are faced with increasingly evolving complexities of life.

Dr. Andrews believes that children, youth, and others deserve these self-development efforts as the greatest impact practitioners can have comes from their ability to think well.

Join Dr. Andrews as he shares research into key concepts and methods for improved teaching and learning, well-being and quality of life.
